Stomach flu symptoms are almost the same, regardless of what cause them. All of them have one thing in common and that is, they are terribly painful and difficult to bear.

Only a person who suffers from the stomach flu symptoms, or passed through it in life, knows what kind of pain it is, and how hard it is to fight with them in those days.

The worst thing that can happen to a infected person, is that in the course of the disease symptoms get a few symptoms at a time. This could, for example, mean that during episodes of vomiting, the person gets the urge for stool. Or vice versa, what happened in my case, that during episodes of diarrhea, gets the urge to vomit.

I really do not know which is worse of those two cases, but I am sure that the worst possible scenario would happen, if during the episode of diarrhea or vomiting a person got the urge to vomit or stool, and at the same time has symptoms of fever or headache.

So, now that we have listed some of the symptoms, which are definitely the worst, we can list the other symptoms that accompany stomach flu.

In addition to diarrhea and vomiting, fever and headache, there are more stomach flu symptoms, and those are: nausea, muscle aches, abdominal pain and cramps, chills, lethargy, fatigue and dizziness.
What is common to all of these symptoms is that within a few days they must gradually yielding to a complete cessation of impressions, which in relation to the cause, can take anywhere from 2 to 10 days. This of course would have to happen by itself, without the use of any drug, but only if you follow instructions provided by your doctor. These instructions are related to diet during disease, and refer to the lower food intake in the first few days, and reduced fluid intake in the same period of time. When we speak of a reduced intake of fluids, we refer to the controlled quantities, because in most cases it will happen to everything you eat and drink you empty through episodes of vomiting and diarrhea. These episodes, especially if they are frequent, can further be detrimental to your health through dehydration.

If you happen to have stomach flu symptoms for longer than ten days, and especially if they are frequent, you should contact your doctor for advice and establishing a diet, and also for further medical examinations.

Tip: Do not use any medicine to relieve symptoms, because they can only worsen your condition.
